Scented Business Cards

There are certain fields or areas of work that are often associated with scents, and adding these to business cards makes a great marketing tool.  However, even those who don’t work in an aromatic environment can pick scents and use them for their cards.  Some exciting ideas include creating chocolate, floral, coffee, or spice infused business cards.  Those who work in bakeries, coffee shops, floral shops, or food-oriented businesses can easily select from any number of scents that are frequently associated with their trade.  Other options include basing your choice of scent upon the principles of aromatherapy.
Aromatherapy is simply the art of using scent to evoke a feeling or emotional response.  Certain scents are associated with feelings of happiness, such as orange or grapefruit.  There are certain essential oils that are used for health and healing purposes, revitalizing the senses, or just creating a better, more uplifting mood.  Choosing these types of scents is a great way to add fragrance and character to your business cards, and they don’t need to be selected according to your line of business. Making scented business cards isn’t difficult either.  You can create your own scented business cards by adding your preferred scent into a sachet and then enclosing the sachet with the business cards in a plastic or Zip Loc bag.  The amount of time that you leave the cards in the bag is based upon your personal preference, but the greater the length of time in the bag, the more fragrant the business cards will be.
